Marianna Alexandrova

Marianna Svetlozarova Alexandrova was born on August 19, 1990 in Varna.

She graduated from the PGT "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov", majoring in "Organization of Service in the Hospitality Industry", after which she obtained a "Professional Bachelor's Degree", majoring in "Management of Hotels and Restaurants" at the College of Tourism - Varna. She continued her studies and received a "Master's Degree", majoring in "Marketing and Management of the Tourism Business". In 2021, Marianna defended her dissertation on the topic "Branding of a Tourist Destination Following the Example of the Municipality of Varna" and obtained the ONS "Doctor", 3.9. Tourism.

Her professional experience includes work in the restaurant industry and tour operator companies. Since 2018, she has been a part-time assistant in the Department of "Economics and Organization of Tourism" at the University of Economics - Varna. She teaches in the bachelor's program (in Russian) and in the master's program. Since 2024, she has been an assistant in the Department of "Tourism" at the College of Tourism - Varna. She teaches disciplines related to tourism, culinary technologies, animation and marketing communications. She participates in research projects in the field of culinary and food. She is the author of conceptual models for gastronomic branding. Marianna is the winner of MasterChef Bulgaria (season 8) and the author of the book "Gastronomy with History - Varna". She works actively to establish a gastronomic brand of the city of Varna. Her activity unites tourism, education and gastronomy, with her focus on modern approaches in culinary culture and the popularization of Bulgarian cuisine.
