Chief Stanislav Kubarev

Stanislav Kubarev is a Chief Instructor at the Institute of Culinary Arts at the University of Management – Varna, Bulgaria. He is an open and creative individual with over 15 years of experience in the industry, who is happy to share his skills and knowledge with passionate students and culinary enthusiasts.


He began his culinary career in New Zealand, where he honed his craft at the Wellington Institute of Technology and the New Zealand School of Food and Wine. Since then, Stanislav Kubarev has worked in four different countries and in numerous restaurants, experiencing a variety of cuisines from around the world, including the two-Michelin-starred Portuguese restaurant Vila Joya.


In 2013, he began working as a chef-instructor at the high-class private culinary school SWISSAM, where he quickly realized that his passion was not limited to learning and practicing the culinary arts, but also to passing on knowledge and raising the level of education and culture among both professionals in the industry and amateurs.


In 2016, Chef Stanislav moved to Varna, Bulgaria, and took up his current position at the Institute of Culinary Arts, contributing significantly to the development of the culinary programs. He constantly monitors new technologies, techniques and ideas in cooking through continuous research and practice.


In addition to cooking and teaching, Chef Stanislav also develops a second profession - culinary photography and videography, maintaining a YouTube channel with recipes. From time to time, he also participates in the creation of visual materials for the Institute of Culinary Arts.

One piece of advice that Chef Stanislav is always happy to share with his students is: “Life is too short, so you should enjoy what you do.”
